William Bex Barn

Placed on a high ridge near East Fork of the White River, the view from this barn is a vista of magnificent rolling hills falling away toward the river.

This small barn has gone through many changes and alterations over the years to accommodate changes in farming. A few Black Angus cattle still use this barn with a portion set aside for storage.

I spent a pleasant fall afternoon with this barn. It was so quiet except for buzzing insects and the occasional bird. I painted this 18 x 24 inch canvas in my studio using sketches as reference. The oil painting was completed in February 2010.

All the barn paintings are for sale.  Please contact Gwen to find out if the painting(s) you are interested in are sold or available.
