Bullington Barn

The exact age of this old barn is unknown; however, it is constructed from hefty sawmill-cut timbers with unique splicing techniques. As farming opportunities changed, so did this barn. During the 19405, a third level was added to this barn, giving it two haylofts. The flooring for this added level came from a bowling alley in New Albany. During this time frame, quail were raised in this barn.

The new barn owners have started some major renovation projects to ensure this old barn has a new life into the 215 century.

I sketched and photographed this old beauty and completed the oil painting in my studio, September 2015. The canvas size is 15 x 24 inches.

All the barn paintings are for sale.  Please contact Gwen to find out if the painting(s) you are interested in are sold or available.
